新しい絵葉書を見つけたそうです。右はベルギーの特産品（レース、フレンチフライ、ムール貝、ビール、チョコレート）です。本当はこれにダイヤモンドがはいるらしい。フリットと呼ばれているフレンチフライはベルギーで発明されたものだそうです。マヨネーズをつけてあつあつを食べるとおいしいんです。 2005/01/26 |

| ミントを買いにスーパーにいったけどあまり新鮮ではなかったので、その近くのモロッコ人のやっている八百屋でにいきました。彼らは、ミントティーとかいっぱい飲むから多分売ってるだろうとの推測でしたが、大当たり。新鮮なミントが束になって売ってました。しかも、安い。たったの30セント。日本円にすると約３０円ということになります。スーパーじゃこれの５倍は軽くします。 |

| で、このミントを家に持ち帰り、長持ちさせようとコップに水をいれてそこにいれたんだけど、そしたら、なんとてんとう虫がついていたのです。星をかぞえたら、７つ。ななほしてんとう虫ということになります。これって、ぜったい幸運を呼ぶてんとう虫だと思い、そのままにしてました。ミントから、台所にある鉢植えに移動したりしてました。右が、ミント上の写真、左は鉢植え上の写真。この後も台所中移動してあるいます。ここ２〜３日見かけないな、残念だなと思っていたら、今日また鉢植えに戻ってきてました。 大晦日に、うちにやってきた幸運を呼ぶナナホシテントウムシの写真です。 2005/1/15 |

サックスはアドルフ・サックスというベルギー人が発明した。ベルギー南部のDinant（ディナン）というまちの出身で、このまちでは２年毎くらいに世界サックスコンクールが開催されているようだ。前回の優勝者は日本人だった。この川沿いの道の一本奥の道（教会のあたりから入っていく道）がアドルフ・サックス通りになる。
